ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½

B.B.A. Scholars are pre-selected for Cox admission based on their application for admission to ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ and academic performance prior to entering ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½. This program includes the top tier of business students. Fall 2025 B.B.A. Scholars had an average SAT of 1525, average ACT of 34 and very competitive grades in the most rigorous curriculum at their high school. Students are notified of their selection for the B.B.A. Scholars Program shortly after receiving acceptance to ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ in their senior year of high school. As B.B.A. Scholars, they participate in the normal ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½/Cox curriculum, but have the added advantages of a Cox Scholarship, Cox admission in the first year and early access to Cox Advising & Career Services opportunities.

B.B.A. Scholars Have:

• Outstanding academic achievement,
• Outstanding SAT/ACT scores,
• Strong leadership skills,
• Strong letters of recommendation, and
• Compelling essays

Approximately 100 students enter ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ as B.B.A. Scholars each year. All students who apply with business as their primary academic interest are automatically considered for the B.B.A. Scholars program; no separate application is required. Students are only invited to join the B.B.A. Scholars program at the point of first year admission.

Scholars come from across the U.S. and from other countries, and represent the strongest business applicants in the incoming class. The B.B.A. Scholars program is a Cox specific program separate from the University Honors Program. B.B.A. Scholars enjoy participating in ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½’s study abroad programs and pursuing double majors and minors in other academic fields. Many are members of the University Honors Program.
